What’s Cookin’ Torch Bearers?

July is NUTRITION MONTH and this year’s theme is  “Pagkain ng Gulay Ugaliin, Araw-araw Ihain”. The goals of this month’s activities are to promote           awareness on healthy eating habits, show importance of having a healthy mind and body, apple concepts learned in class about the value of eating health food such as fruits and vegetables. Students will also be given the chance to showcase their artistic skills in the poster-making contest and their creativity during the Food Sale.

The HELE and TLE classes will have a Cook Fest in which students will make healthy snacks and prepare lunch meals such as Adobong Sitaw with Tofu and other healthy viands that they will partake in. They will also be given the chance to practice setting the tables and washing the dishes after.

The PRESCHOOLERS will have their own set of activities per class wherein they will be making simple snacks such as fruit salad, muffins and pancakes.  To further promote the importance of eating healthy food, a story telling  activity will be held which will focus on the benefits of healthy   eating habits.
